The Jefferson municipal pool will open Saturday, June 6, for lap swim and swim lessons. There will be no open swim, per Gov Kim Reynolds’ public health emergency declaration of May 20.
The pool will be open daily from 11:30 am to 6:30 pm.
Lap swimmers have one hour to swim if another use is scheduled. If no one is waiting, there is no time limit. Season lap swim memberships are available at a cost of $60 for adults, $50 for youngsters 17 and younger, and $50 for seniors age 65 and older. The daily lap swim fee is $5 for adults and $4 for children
A list of staff available to teach private swim lessons will be available June 6. Swimmers will pay the daily entrance fee along with the instructor’s fee.
Group swim lessons are tentatively planned for late June/early July.
